This & That

This picture of Grayson has been my phone wallpaper for almost a month and it’s one of my favorites of him. It makes me sad though because he already looks different.

In my attempts of decluttering this year, this list is a good one to read.

Is a wok worth the space it takes up? Not if you’re trying to live minimally, like I am attempting to. This article made me feel better about parting with my stir-fry cookware.

Valentine’s Day is soon and I’d love to make this. I think I have most of the ingredients, too. Yay!

Do you decorate for Valentine’s Day? I set out a few things but I’d love to make this.

We are making a trip to Ikea soon and this post has some great ideas.

If you enjoy “This is Us” then check this story out about one of the main characters.

I am ready for spring because our weather here has been so BORING! I want snow and I’d like several inches of it, please. Instead we have had cloudy days and it’s either really cold or it’s mild but either way it makes looking outside depressing. I either want an actual winter or just move on to spring. Weather rant over! 😐

This will be added to a meal plan very soon. I haven’t fixed this dish in ages.

Does anyone remember Seriel? I was obsessed with Season 1. I believe it took me two or three days to finish it. Season 2 was, ehh…maybe I should give it another try. I started it on a drive to Illinois and it was putting Jason and I both to sleep. Not a good idea. I wonder if a season 3 is in the works?!?

I hope you all have a great week!

Super Bowl commercials…Maybe I am alone here but I don’t like that the commercials are shown before game day. They can be watched online and the Today show was airing some for the purpose of discussion the week leading up to the game. Can we not wait and discuss them after the game? What commercials I did see I wasn’t all that impressed with..maybe I’m a tough crowd.  🙂

Have a good week!

Born and raised in Southern Illinois. My journey has brought me to Louisville, Ky where I live with my architect husband, Jason and our little dog, Fonzie. We enjoy exploring our city and eating good food. I am happy to be able to share great recipes with you and snap some photos along the way. I sincerely hope you enjoy exploring my blog as much as I have enjoyed creating it!
