Sunrise Sipper: A blend of orange juice, pineapple juice and maraschino cherry juice. A refreshing way to start your morning!
Today’s recipe isn’t really a recipe. It’s more of a “how-to” to get to this yummy breakfast drink. It really can not get any easier than this! A sunrise sipper is not a new drink and it is also a drink that you will find many different variations of. I decided that since you may have noticed this juice in this post, that I would share the recipe I used to make it.
Sunrise sippers would be perfect to make for brunch or if you are hosting a breakfast/brunch themed party or shower this sunrise sipper would be great in a punch bowl. There are several different variations for this and you can play around and come up with something you prefer. I’ve made this with Grenadine instead of Maraschino Cherry juice and it ended up tasting like grapefruit juice.lol!
I love juice and I try not to buy it because I want to drink it first thing in the morning. I find it so refreshing!! However, I know the sugar content is high and that’s why I don’t buy it regularly. My favorite juice is orange juice and with lots of pulp.
- 3 cups pineapple juice
- 3 cups orange juice
- 1/4 cup maraschino juice
- In a large pitcher combine all the juices.
- Best when served chilled.
- I have used Grenadine in place of the cherry juice. It's good. A tiny bit sour like grapefruit juice, but still yummy!
