Pumpkin Dump Cake

Equipment

  • 9"x13" cake pan

Ingredients

  • 1 box Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 can 15 oz. Pumpkin
  • 1 can 12 oz. Evaporated Milk
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • whipped topping

Instructions

  • Pre heat oven to 350°
  • Grease bottom of 9"x13" pan.
  • In a large bowl combine pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Gently mix until all combined.
  • Pour into prepared cake pan.
  • Gently sprinkle the cake mix on top of the pumpkin mixture trying to cover the entire pan.
  • Top with chopped pecans
  • Drizzle melted butter over the pecans.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and set.
  • Cool completely, uncovered, and then cover and refrigerate. Allow to chill for at least 5 hours.
  • Top with whipped topping
