Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spray mini doughnut pan with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large mixing bowl stir flour, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg and salt together.
Add buttermilk, egg, vanilla and butter.
Stir until combined.
Fill each doughnut cavity approximately ½ full.
Bake 4-6 minutes or until the top of the doughnuts spring back when touched.
Let cool in pan for 4-5 minutes before removing.
Finish with glaze and sprinkles!
