Taco Soup

  • slow cooker (optional)


  • 1 pound of ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 15.5 oz Can of Black Beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 15.5 oz Can Pinto Beans
  • 2 14 oz Cans of Beef Broth
  • 1 14.5 oz Can of diced tomatoes
  • 1 10 oz. Can of diced tomatoes and green chilies
  • 1 Packet of Ranch Seasoning Mix
  • 1 Packet of taco seasoning mix
  • 1 Can of corn, not drained
  • pepper and pinch of salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder


  • Brown meat in a skillet until cooked through
  • Drain fat away from meat
  • If using a slow cooker add all ingredients to the slow cooker and cook on low for four hours or on high for two hours.
  • If cooking on a stovetop then pour all ingredients into a large stockpot or dutch oven. Bring to a boil; simmer for 10 minutes, stirring often.
