Oatmeal Raisin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup butter softened
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar firmly packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup uncooked-quick cooking oats
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1 12 oz package of semi-sweet morsels
  • 1 cup raisins

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Beat butter, sugar and brown sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy.
  • Add eggs and vanilla, beating well until blended.
  • Combine flour, baking soda, oats and salt in a medium bowl.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips and raisins.
  • Drop by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-14 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool on baking sheets for one minute and remove to wired racks and allow to cool completely.
