Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat butter, sugar and brown sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy.
Add eggs and vanilla, beating well until blended.
Combine flour, baking soda, oats and salt in a medium bowl.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture.
Stir in the chocolate chips and raisins.
Drop by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 10-14 minutes or until golden brown.
Allow to cool on baking sheets for one minute and remove to wired racks and allow to cool completely.
