It's October and that means it's pumpkin season. Afterall, pumpkin does begin to take over the world this time of year. Which is just fine with me because I love anything with pumpkin and gladly welcome it in my recipe arsenal. I was thrilled when I whipped up some of this Pumpkin Spice warm-up drink because it was exactly what I needed on a crisp fall day!
My husband whom just hours before me making this drink said, why do we have pumpkins everywhere?" "We wash our hands with pumpkin scented soap, we decorate with pumpkins, we eat pumpkin food and even drink pumpkin drinks." Yes, yes we do! Obviously, he's not a big fan of pumpkin foods and drinks. However, after he tried my Pumpkin Spice Warm-Up he was quick to ask me to make him one.
Since this drink is caffeine free it's perfect for non coffee drinkers who want their own version of a pumpkin spice latte.
The graham cracker crumbs are not required but do make the drink more festive. It also adds some extra flavor. I first dipped the rim of my mug in water followed by the graham cracker crumbs and they stayed on the mug just fine.
I hope you make this really soon and enjoy it as much as we did.
I'd love to know what your favorite yummy drink to make during the fall is. Please leave me a comment and let me know.
