Thick, creamy and sweet! This apple dip is a yummy treat during apple season. The brown sugar gives it "caramel" flavor hint and the pecans add a nice little crunch. Serve with slices of your favorite apple and it's almost like eating a deconstructed caramel apple.
What's in apple dip
- 8oz. block cream cheese
- brown sugar
- vanilla
- pecans
How to make apple dip
Begin with room temperature cream cheese. The softness will allow the mixture to come together and be creamy rather than the cream cheese breaking off in tiny pieces.
Beat cream cheese
Add brown sugar and vanilla, mix well
Add chopped pecans and lightly mix
Storage Tips for apple dip
Keep it in an airtight container and it should be good for 3-4 days.
When ready to serve, allow dip to sit out for 15 min to soften and will be easier to dip

Yummy ways to mix it up:
- Another great addition would be to add some toffee bits to the dip. These can be difficult to find, because I use them in my pumpkin cheesecake and they're not readily available at all stores.
- Dippping pretzels in this would also be delicious.
- Instead of apples, pears would be great too.
- Feel free to leave out the pecans-but the subtle crunch is nice.
