Grape jelly and chili sauce meatballs- This popular three ingredient appetizer is easy to make and can be made in the slow cooker and it's always a crowd pleaser.
Are there really only three ingredients to make these meatballs:
Frozen meatballs-I use homestyle-any brand will work. Turkey meatballs work too if you want a leaner meatball.
Grape Jelly-Any brand is fine. I usually grab the store brand one for this recipe.
Chili Sauce- I love to use chili sauce when making meatloaf too.
Can these be made in the slow cooker or on the stove top?
I prefer to use the slow cooker so I can keep the meatballs on warm after they're warmed through and serve them with cocktail toothpicks. However, the stove top will work too. Make sure to stir the meatballs around so the sauce doesn't scorch to the pan. Cooking on the stove won't take as long to heat the meatballs up since the meatballs are fully cooked you're only heating them through, fifteen-twenty minutes is about how long you will need.
What else to serve with Grape Jelly and Chili Sauce Meatballs:
If I am making these then I am either hosting or going to a party so I prefer to have other appetizer foods.
